Through a series of processing stages, Lakkoma stone is shaped either as wall cladding (3 to 5 cm thick) or as masonry stone (~8 cm thick). It consists of rectangular pieces processed using a press, which are usually installed with joints. However, an excellent result can also be achieved using the dry-stone technique, where the minimal gaps left between the pieces create a light, subtle joint effect.
In both cases, the appropriate proportion of dimensions is used in order to achieve the proper interlocking pattern of the stone. This natural stone is highly durable over time, does not erode, and is suitable for both exterior and interior applications.
The stone is available in a wide range of shades, including brown, grey, and ochre.
For Lakkoma cladding and masonry stone, special pieces (corner pieces) can also be produced as required. These serve a dual purpose, as they facilitate installation while at the same time providing a more natural-looking result.
These pieces are measured and calculated per linear metre.
