Thassos stone originates from the white marble of Thassos, which, through a series of processing stages, is shaped either as wall cladding (3 to 5 cm thick) or as masonry stone (~8 cm thick). It consists of rectangular pieces processed using a press, which can be installed either with joints or using the dry-stone technique, where the minimal gaps between the pieces create a light, subtle joint effect.
In both cases, the appropriate proportion of dimensions is used in order to achieve the proper interlocking pattern of the stone. This natural stone is suitable for both exterior and interior applications.
For Thassos cladding and masonry stone, special pieces (corner pieces) can also be produced as required. These serve a dual purpose, as they facilitate installation while at the same time providing a more natural-looking result.
These pieces are measured and calculated per linear metre.
